Good evening

Dr. Paul Brazzell here.

I would be happy to help you!

How long ago? Less than two hours?
If so then give three teaspoons of 3% hydrogen peroxide now

Will that make her throw up?

Yes

So go ahead and give it!

What if she doesn’t throw up?
Dog Veterinarian: DocPaul, Veterinarian replied 7 months ago

Then we will try the same dose again

If that does not work then we will try syrup of ipecac or you can take her in to the ER

The peroxide almost always works

Good! Just threw up! Lots! She never changed and differently than her normal personality so hopefully all is going to be ok! Thank you!!
Dog Veterinarian: DocPaul, Veterinarian replied 7 months ago

Good job.

Now we want to keep a watch on for upset stomach from the Rimadyl. But I think we got it out in time as most of it should have come up with the vomit.

This drug can cause kidney issues in high doses

But if she is not showing any signs over the next 12-24 hours we should be in the clear

If you really want to be sure you can buy activated charcoal and give 2 grams/kg with her favorite food
