7 year old rescue Pekingese has anxiety and goes into attack…

Customer Question
7 year old rescue...

7 year old rescue Pekingese has anxiety and goes into attack mode with other dogs. She has had much grief in the past 7 months and will only eat after having 1/4 of a Diazepam. Sometimes she won't eat even with the med. Any helpful suggestions appreciated.

Veterinarian's Assistant: I'm sorry to hear that. What is the dog's name?

ZOEMAE

Veterinarian's Assistant: Is there anything else important you think the Veterinarian should know about ZOEMAE?

She lost her dear doggie friend, my Goldendoodle, in April. She was her Dad's lap pet. Due to Alz his personality changed, was then sent to nursing home, died in August. She knew Jasper was dying and quit eating tge week before I had to put him down. Autoimmune H Anemia.

Hello, this is Dr. Sara. I am very sorry to hear this, I feel bad for her having that much anxiety and stress. How long have you owned Zoe and how many other dogs live in the house? When was her last exam and did you discuss this with your veterinarian?
