Two weeks ago our...

Two weeks ago our 10 year old Lab/Retriever mix the vet told us he had knee/renal failure. He has lost weight and he started not eating very much. He had 3 days of IV fluids and was put on 2 weeks ofAmoxicillin 500mg and Alumunum Hydroxide Gel 320mg/5ml. His BUN count was 170. He was checked again and his count went down to 140 in about a week. The vet said he could die any day and she did not expect him to last a month but suggested we have him rechecked in two months. That was a big problem for me to wait that long. I have done a lot of research on the web and one thing I continually found is diet I’d important. I have researched and spoken with a person at Canine Kidney Helth by Five Leaf as a possible diet. Am I hoping against hope if he numbers continue to go down that he may live little longer? I know kidneys cannot be healed but in my mind if the numbers continue to go down that is good. Also h
