Customer Question
My 15 month old...

My 15 month old min pin started to limp a little on her left front leg. she is not complaining about it and when I touch it to see if maybe she has a splinter she doesn't complain she was still running yesterday to try to play then went back to a little limp keep the left paw off the ground at time. today she seems to be babying it more but still not complaining about it and I was just looking up what other people maybe saying

Veterinarian's Assistant: I'm sorry to hear that. Have you looked to see if there is a wound on their foot?

I looked for a wound, thorn or maybe something stuck and I spread her fingers out and didn't find anything

Veterinarian's Assistant: What is the dog's name?

Her name is*****: Is there anything else the Veterinarian should be aware of about Andy?

Nothing that comes to mind

Good afternoon.

Dr. Paul Brazzell here.

I would be happy to help you!

It is very good that you checked over the paw!

I am not concerned very much at this point

I have seen this hundreds and hundreds of times. She probably overexerted herself and landed on the leg wrong

She is a young dog and this is likely a sprain or a strain.

I recommend that you rest her- no walks or activity for the rest of the day

And give her Aspirin at 10.0 mg/pound twice daily with food

You should plan on updating me in the AM

Okay?
Paul
