my dog ate proin 50...
my dog ate proin 50 tabs. came inside and she had gotten bottle off table. I thought there were only about 10 in, called vet who said if only ate 5 or so then should be ok. My husband came in hours later, and he thinks bottle was much fuller and that she ate about 15. she is a 50 lb lab. now acting a little nervous and jittery, heart rate seems ok. but we are concerned. ate pills around 5:50 p.m. 10.12 pm. now. monitor or take to vet? what signs should we be looking at?

Proin is phenylpropanolamine and can have side effects in higher dosages.

Can you confirm 50 tablets were eaten or was it more like 15?

prone 50 was the name of the medicine; about 15 were eaten. We never heard back so we took other course of action. all seems ok now.
