Hi. My name is***** Thank you for your question. These little one's like this can be fast. Magnesium carbonate is used in many mineral supplements. It is of very low toxicity. Overdoses of magnesium do not generally cause problems beyond GI upset. Animals with normal renal function can tolerate fairly large ingestions of magnesium without problems. This ingestion of 250 mg doesn't seem to be that large of an exposure.
