They are mother and daughter the mother is called Tootsie and she's 4 rs her daughter is Kalista and she is 15 months

Veterinarian's Assistant: Is there anything else important you think the Veterinarian should know about Tootsie?

I'm sorry that your question wasn't answered in a timely manner. This is a very serious and possibly life-threatening ingestion of pimobendan. Cardiovascular abnormalities such as severe tachycardia (rapid heart rate), hypotension (low blood pressure), and hypertension (high blood pressure) are noted. Decontamination by emesis (as you've done) followed by tubing them with activated charcoal, IV fluids therapy for hypotension and hydration requirements, monitoring blood pressure and electrocardiogram are advised in a hospital setting. Please respond with further questions or concerns if you wish.

Hi there ,they were monitored for 24hrs and surprisingly only exhibited tachycardia and hypotension which resolved ,I think they were extremely lucky ,from now on in the vetmedin will be locked away in a drawer
Thank you for your help x
