How much does Penny, weight, please? The theobromine in the cocoa in those donuts would become toxic at a dose of ~1/16 ounce per pound of body weight. It's unlikely that there would be that much cocoa in 7 of those donuts.

About 55lbs
Dog Veterinarian: Dr. Michael Salkin, Veterinarian replied 7 months ago

Thank you. Penny didn't ingest 1/16 ounce per 55 lbs = 3.4 ounces of cocoa in those donuts. As with ingesting anything unusual transient gastrointestinal distress in the form of inappetence, vomiting and/or diarrhea can arise but she wasn't intoxicated and will remain safe. There's no need to induce emesis or treat in any manner. Please respond with further questions or concerns.
