My dog recently had his teeth cleaned, but a few weeks later he got bad breath again.
His gums look good and his teeth look perfectly clean.
Is there something I use to make his breath better?

Hi. My name is***** Thank you for your question about your guy. There are absolutely products / steps available to help make his breath smell better. The Virbac C.E.T. line of products is one that I really like and use on my own pets. Different dogs and cats will allow different levels of at home dental care to be done. IN this situation, ideally daily brushing would help to improve the oral odor immensely. Here is a link.

If the daily brushing can't be done, then any and all that is done will help the overall long term oral health and odor situation.

He doesn't let me brush his teeth very well. His breath smells bad even with brushing every night.
Is there a mouth wash that you recommend?

Some don't like the brushing at all. That isn't surprising. As far as other products, the C.E.T. makes a very good dental chew product as well as a dental rinse. Here is just one link on the Dental rinse by them.

I like the Virbac line of products in general.

I don't know why I couldn't get their site initially, but now have it. Here is the home link for Virbac and their dental products.

Thank You.
I do give him the Virbac dental chews twice a day.
I will try the mouth wash as well.
Have a good day.

The system will not allow me to rate you.

I hope that the dental rinsing goes well. The products by Virbac are just top of the line and I would again start with them. I hope for a fresher breath in the future!
