We are on 68 days of pregnancy no puppies !

Veterinarian's Assistant: I'll do all I can to help. What is the matter with the dog?

She's not acting sick at all . I can't feel pups. Thinking maybe it's a false pregnancy

Veterinarian's Assistant: Where does the dog seem to hurt?

She doesn't seem hurt

Veterinarian's Assistant: OK. No obvious pain. What is the dog's name?

Trixie

Veterinarian's Assistant: Is there anything else the Veterinarian should be aware of about Trixie?

No she appears fine Trixie usually births puppies around 61 st to 62nd day. But hasn't yet

We can clarify this puzzlement. Due to variability in the time of ovulation compared to the time of standing behavior in the bitch and the long time sperm are viable in the female reproductive tract, the gestation length from a single breeding can range from 58 (bred late) to 71 days (bred early). That said, if you haven't seen appreciable weight gain and can't feel pups, Trixie is likely to be suffering a false pregnancy. All unbred females will become falsely pregnant to some extent 1-3 months after an estrous cycle. False pregnancy (pseudopregnancy, pseudocyesis) is characterized by different degrees and combinations of maternal behavior (nesting, digging, adoption of animals or objects), mammary gland engorgement, lactation, licking of the glands, as well as depression or anxiety, anorexia, and/or excessive vocalization (whining). Pseudocyesis typically resolves spontaneously within 2-3 weeks from its onset but can occasionally persist until the next estrous cycle. If my patient is excessively uncomfortable, I can administer a dopamine agonist such as cabergoline which will shorten the course of the pseudocyesis.

The most expeditious manner in which to solve this dilemma is to have Trixie's vet palpate Trixie's abdomen. If the vet can't be definitive, an abdominal X-ray can be taken. Please respond with further questions or concerns if you wish.
