I'm sorry that your question wasn't answered in a timely manner. Please let me know if you still need help. May I have an update on Peanut, please?
Raisins may become toxic when ingested in amounts greater than 0.015 ounces per pound of body weight which would be equivalent to 1.35 ounces of raisins for Peanut. This toxicity is idiosyncratic; in other words, most dogs can ingest raisins to their heart's content without harm. Toxicity is evidenced by signs of renal failure - vomiting, anorexia, lethargy, diarrhea, abdominal pain, and weakness seen 12-24 hours post-ingestion.

It has been approx 12 to 17 hrs since ingestion. His behavior is normal, and he seemed to have normal urine output this am, and normal bowel movement as well. He had normal appetite last night 3 to 8 hrs after ingestion, and has not been fed his first meal yet today. He has taken a drink of water after a walk 30 mins ago, but not much.

Thank you for the additional information. His prognosis is very good. He's not out of the woods quite yet, however, so please continue monitoring for another 8 hours. Please continue our conversation if you wish.
