I am sorry to hear your dog has kidney problems. Ery probably refers to erythrocytes, or red blood cells. Every lab has different normal values; was 50 low or high on the blood tests?

It is not unusual for dogs with chronic kidney disease to have low red blood cells counts.

Please let me know what other questions you have.
