Some chocolates are more toxic than others. For instance Dark chocolate or bakers chocolate would be more toxic than milk chocolate. It also depends on how much the dog ate as in reference to its body weight as to the toxicity level.

Since you are offline at this time I am going to direct you to a link that has an interactive chart which will tell you if the dog ate a toxic amount. IF you feel he did then you will need to get him to a Veterinarian.
