Thought she was pregnant but after visiting the vet I am

Customer Question

Thought she was pregnant but after visiting the vet I am confused. She has a big belly, no milk and she has a fever. The vet gave her a shot of cerebra because she hasn't been able to keep much down
JA: I'm sorry to hear that. We need to be extra careful with pregnancies, so we'll need to connect you with the Veterinarian ASAP. Is there anything else the Veterinarian should be aware of about the dog?
Customer: She seems very dizzy and unsure of her footing

Did your vet confirm whether she is pregnant?

Customer: replied 1 month ago.

She took xrays but didn't see any puppies but she said she might not be far enough along to see. She pees and poops so I don't think it could be a gi blockage. Gave her a cerenia pill this morning and she gets loopy with them which I don't like

If she has a big belly then I would expect pups to be visible on xray. if she was too early on in the pregnancy I would not expect her to have a distended abdomen. has she had any blood work done? This can often be a sign of liver or blood protein issues.
