Yess i saw the pill and took it away, the pill was soft so i know he just licked, he did no ingest the whole thing

With that level of exposure he should be at minimal risk. I doubt we shall see any adverse signs.

If he were to exeprience any effects, it would be signs of reduced blood sugar, so he may appear hungry, quieter than his normal self, or unusually sleepy or wobbly. If you see any significant signs, then I would recommend having your vet check his blood sugar, however, I consider it very unlikely he should suffer any ill effects here.
