Piper would have needed to ingest at least 4 grapes for me to consider grape toxicity and this toxicity is idiosyncratic (peculiar) in any event; in other words, most dogs can ingest grapes to their heart's content without harm. There's no need to induce emesis or treat in any manner. Please respond with further questions or concerns.

Even 2 grapes wouldn't risk intoxication. Studies show that 0.3 grapes per pound of body weight are needed. 0.3 grapes/lb x 12 lbs = 3.6 grapes. Please continue our conversation if you wish.
