My dog has been vomitting his food up a few hours after

Customer Question

My dog has been vomitting his food up a few hours after eating for the past 2 days. He appears fine otherwise. Pooping and peeing the same as usual. Temp yesterday was 101.4. Eating and drinking as usual. What should I do?
JA: I'm sorry to hear that. Hopefully it didn't make a mess. Did your dog eat anything unusual?
Customer: Not to my knowledge. I tried rice and hamburg but that came up as well.
JA: OK. The Expert will know what to do. What is the dog's name?
Customer: Trux
JA: Is there anything else important you think the Veterinarian should know about Trux?
Customer: He is a 5 yr. Belgian Malinois.

Hello & welcome, I am Dr. B, a licensed veterinarian and I would like to help you today.

What is he bringing up in his vomit? Just food? Does he keep any of it down?

Can he keep any water down?

Are his gums pink or white/pale? Moist or sticky?

If you press on his belly, any tensing, tenderness, discomfort, or pain?

Could he have eaten anything harmful (ie bones, toys, plants, chemicals, human meds, etc)?
