Customer Question

My Shih Tzu won't eat. He is down to skin and bones. I have taken him to my vet who gave me meds, they didn't help. I have taken him to internal medicine doctor who has done several ultra sounds and just sees IBD. We put him on new prednisone and other meds but he still won't eat. I am at my wits end. Do I have to put him down.
JA: I'm sorry to hear that. What is the Shih Tzu's name and age?
Customer: Dallas and he is 12
JA: Is there anything else the Veterinarian should be aware of about Dallas?
Customer: No. He was losing protein but the internal med dr did blood work and his blood was much better

I am very sorry to see that no one has reached out to you before now. How is your companion at this time?

What foods have been tried thus far for Dallas?

Are you seeing any other symptoms, such as vomiting or diarrhea?
