Can you give me an idea of how much d-CON ( in grams or ounces) might have been ingested? This anticoagulant rodenticide can become life-threatening if ingested at amounts over 3.3 ounces for a 40 lb dog.

Thank you. That won't be enough to cause Dixie harm unless she suffered an idiosyncratic (peculiar) reaction to the d-CON. There's no need to induce emesis or treat in any manner. While very unlikely, watch for uncontrolled bleeding from any orifice or an increased respiratory rate which can indicate bleeding into the chest cavity arising 1-4 days following ingestion of this rodenticide. Please continue our conversation if you wish.
