Her heart is good. She has recently had some gallbladder & liver problems but is on meds for that

Hi. I’m Dr. Denise, a licensed veterinarian. I’m happy to help with your concerns regarding Reesee.

What strength tablets were the Excedrin migraine?

How long ago did she swallow them?

Do you have hydrogen peroxide? I recommend inducing her to vomit up the medication.

Ask Your Own Dog Veterinary Question
Dog Veterinarian: Dr. Denise, Dog Veterinarian replied 8 months ago

She will need about (15ml or 1 Tablespoon) of hydrogen peroxide orally.

Then walk her inside on a leash with a garbage bag to catch her vomit.

If she does not vomit within 10-15 min of the hydrogen peroxide, she can have a second dose.

It is important that she vomit to the point of dry heaving, to know that her stomach is empty.

Any success in inducing Reesee to vomit?

Ask Your Own Dog Veterinary Question
Dog Veterinarian: Dr. Denise, Dog Veterinarian replied 8 months ago

I am concerned with the dose of Excedrin migraine that Reesee received as she may need additional care after vomiting up the medication.

I'm going to be logging off for the evening. Since I'm not seeing any response, I'm going to opt out so that another veterinarian can continue to help you this evening.

JACustomer, Dr. Denise has signed off for the evening and I have stepped in to assist in her place. Has Reesee had vomiting induced thus far for the Excedrin as she'd recommended above? How long ago were the tablets consumed?
