I'm sorry that your question wasn't answered in a timely manner. Ingestion of glucocorticoid (steroid) topical products may cause transient gastrointestinal distress (inappetence, vomiting and/or diarrhea) but little else. Did Pippa also ingest the tube?

Hi yes she did I have been watching her and she doesn't seem to be in any discomfort. It wasn't a very big tube. Do you think it may still be necessary to get her checked?
Dog Veterinarian: Dr. Michael Salkin, Veterinarian replied 11 months ago

As long as she's asymptomatic, you can continue to monitor her. The signs of intestinal obstruction are persistent vomiting and/or anorexia. May I have an update on Pippa, please?

She's doing pretty well she's still very energetic and has been eating normally. Thanks for your help I'll keep watching her but I think she's ok.
Dog Veterinarian: Dr. Michael Salkin, Veterinarian replied 11 months ago

Thank you for the good update. I think she's OK too! I can't set a follow-up in this venue so please return to our conversation - even after rating - with an update at your convenience. You can bookmark this page for ease of return.
