Customer Question
Hello my shih tzu...

Hello my shih tzu Bailey started acting strange two days ago .. he is extremely weak has loss of appetite and it seems his body temperature is warmer than usual .. he is still urinaring and drinking water no vomiting no diarrhea

Veterinarian's Assistant: I'm sorry to hear that. Hopefully it didn't make a mess. Did the Shih Tzu eat anything unusual?

No .. he eats blue buffalo and we do give him table scraps here and there but no nothing out of the ordinary

Veterinarian's Assistant: OK. The Expert will know what to do. What is the Shih Tzu's name?

Bailey

Veterinarian's Assistant: Is there anything else the Veterinarian should be aware of about Bailey?

He's 9 years old and had parvo when he was about 4 months old .. he's current on all vaccines and with his heart worm test

I'm sorry that your question wasn't answered in a timely manner. Please let me know if you still need help. May I have an update on Bailey, please?

Regretfully, his symptoms of weakness and inappetence with possible fever are important symptoms but they're not pathognomic (specifically indicative) of any one particular disorder. Have any new symptoms arisen that might help localize Bailey's problem?
