Customer Question

Hello. I am dog sitting and realized I forgot to give the dog's chemotherapy pill the last two days. I am wondering if this will hurt her somehow
JA: I'll do all I can to help. What is wrong with the dog?
Customer: She has osteosarcoma
JA: Where does the dog seem to hurt?
Customer: She's not hurting. I need to know what to do if she misses a dose of her medicine
JA: OK. No obvious pain. What is the dog's name?
Customer: Daisy
JA: Is there anything else the Veterinarian should be aware of about Daisy?
Customer: The medicine is chlorambucil

No it should not have too much of an effect. You will need to let her owners know, but as long as you give it as directed now there should not be any ill effects as this medication helps modulate the immune system and is not a true chemotherapy.

She will not have any symptoms because of this and it should not affect her overall treatment protocol.

Things happen do not be so hard on yourself it happens to everyone ( even I have forgotten to give medication to my own animals a time or two)
