Our 2 year old Irish Setter has been having chronic

Customer Question

Our 2 year old Irish Setter has been having chronic intermittent pancreatitis, bloody loose stools, vomiting, once even with blood. She has been treated multiple times with antibiotics. She tested negative for fecal flotation. She has had a recent ultrasound that revealed swollen lymph nodes and thickening of small intestines. Still waiting for the blood tests for digestive disease. Meanwhile I am very concerned about the bloody stools, not eating normal and lethargy. We have put her on a lean grain free diet Annamaet lean reduced fat formula dog food. What else can we do for her? I am supposed to be picking up yet another prescription for metronidazole. The antibiotics can't be helping her already torn up system. She also takes thyroid medicine, Prilosec and Zyrtec twice daily. What else is there?
