The amounts of all of the ingredients in that product - acetaminophen, dextromethorphan, and phenylephrine - are toxic to a 3 lb dog. Most worrisome is the acetaminophen which can cause a change in the hemoglobin and liver damage. I would induce emesis by dosing Angel with 5 mL (one measuring teaspoon) of 3% hydrogen peroxide with a large eyedropper or small poultry baster placed between her cheek teeth and cheek. She should vomit within 15 minutes. If not, please repeat the same dose. Please respond with further questions or concerns if you wish.

Keep me posted, please. I regret that my state board of veterinary examiners doesn't allow me to speak to customers by phone in this venue but other experts in this category may be able to assist you in this regard. Please let me know if you'd like another expert to do so and I'll opt out of this conversation. Please stay in the conversation if you wish.
