Customer Question
Hello Rebecca is me again...
Hello Rebecca is me again. It's about AJ. It has now been more then 24 hours and AJ still has a bloody diarrhea. He hasn't eaten yet. I started him today on some rice water. He doesn't want to drink anything now so I have been giving him everything through a syringe.

There are no safe over the counter pain medications for dogs. We sometimes use aspirin, but we don't want to give that to a dog with bloody diarrhea.

You could try some Pepto Bismal (how much does he weigh?) but it sounds like he needs to see a veterinarian.
