JA: I'm sorry to hear that. It could be an infection. The Expert will know what to do. What is the dog's name and age?
Customer: Banjo. He is a malamute puppy of 8 months.
JA: What is the dog's name?
Customer: do you think he will make it?

Can you tell me some additional information so I can better assist you?

Is there any chance of toxin exposure?

Has he had blood work and if so what were the results?

Banjo was at the dog park and collapsed. Taken to the Vet right away, had bloodwork. On iv and antibiotics. Unresponsive now. It has been 5 hours. The Vet does not know what is going on.So worried!!

Banjo is my daughter's dog. He is an 8 month old puppy.

I am so sorry. That is definitely scary.

It could have been heat stroke but the veterinary would have checked a temperature as soon as Banjo was brought in.

It may just take time for his to stabilize but if there is no change after 12 hours his prognosis is poor.

It may be underlying heart disease that is a congenital issue.

Thank you Dr. Denny. Hope he recovers well. We are very sad but have hope.

I cannot even imagine how hard this is for you and your daughter.

Just heartbreaking, but sometimes all they need is time to get through it.
