My dog was bitten and has a puncture wound under his neck.

Customer Question

My dog was bitten and has a puncture wound under his neck. He now has fluid build up all over his body, he is in pain. I have worked in animal rescue for years, to keep cost down, so we doctor the dogs ourselve. Toby is a 8 lb yorkie, hd has been vaccinated. Looks like his symptoms are from the puncture wound. First I am shaving his hair, cleaning the wound with perioxde, giving him aspirin for pain and a shot of penicillin.
JA: I'm sorry to hear that. Is your Yorkie bleeding a lot?
Customer: No did some last nkght
JA: What is the Yorkie's name?
Customer: Toby
JA: Is there anything else the Veterinarian should be aware of about Toby?
Customer: No he is healthy, yappy 7 year old yorkie

Good afternoon, JACustomer. How can I best assist you today?

Customer: replied 8 days ago.
Thank you. As long as I know what to do and what I am treating, I can doctor my dogs. But, I am really concerned with the amount of fluid all over is body. I can send video or pictures of the injured area.
Expert:  PitRottMommy replied 8 days ago.

Please do. That will help me to see what you are seeing.

There is an attachment function on the page that should allow you to post pictures and video. If it fails to load, the files are likely too large. You can also use websites like and to upload pictures and video respectively. Once this is done, a set of links will appear. You can then post the link back and I can access them. If this does not work and you’d prefer to text them directly to my cell phone, let me know. There is an additional charge for this, but it can make the job of sending pictures or video much more simple. Just let me know what works for you. I’ll be standing by.
