my dog fell down some stairs and now refuses to go down and steps. do you think i should take him in to find out what is happening?

Customer: his hind legs seem to have no strength in them and he refuses to go down any steps.
JA: Have you looked to see if there is a wound on their foot?
Customer: there is no wound
JA: What is the dog's name and age?
Customer: his name is ***** ***** he is 8.
JA: Is there anything else the Veterinarian should be aware of about sam?
Customer: he did have the fall down some steps that lead outside. he does have a fat deposit on his side.
