Hi. My name is***** I'm glad to hear that your guy is recovering from the surgery for his twisted stomach. When a stomach twists, it can be a fatal situation if not caught in a time frame that allows the surgery to be done successfully. Basically a twisted stomach surgery involves putting the stomach back into its normal position and then fixing (suturing it) to the abdominal side wall to stabilize it so it shouldn't rotate in the future. Here is a great link with pictures that I want you to read and then ask questions that it brings up.
