I have a 51/2 lb chihuahua that has Bn exposed to mold black

Customer Question

I have a 51/2 lb chihuahua that has Bn exposed to mold black mold in a house and believe she has become ill. Vets not open til in the morning. What can I do til tomorrow. I have liquid albon but that's all. She doesn't want to drink so I've mixed up some Gatorade and giving in syringe by mouth
JA: I'll do all I can to help. What is wrong with the chihuahua?
Customer: Became lethargic a bit vomited 2 but nothing came up. She's just not acting her self. She's only about 6 months old. Has had clean bill of health since I gotten her in sept
JA: This sounds like it might be serious. I'll let the Veterinarian know what's going on ASAP. Is there anything else important you think the Veterinarian should know about the chihuahua?
Customer: Not at this time

Hello & welcome, I am Dr. B, a licensed veterinarian and I would like to help you today. I do apologize that your question was not answered before. Different experts come online at various times; I just came online, read about your wee one’s situation, and wanted to help.

Again I do apologize that my colleagues could not aid you sooner, but can you tell me:

What signs are you seeing?

Since she was gagging before, any more retching, gagging, lip licking, drooling, vomiting, or diarrhea since?

Any breathing difficulties?

Are her gums pink or white/pale? Moist or sticky?

If you press on her belly, any tensing, tenderness, discomfort, or pain?
