7 year old female lab, hasn't eaten since 12/30 6PM: Found

Customer Question

7 year old female lab, hasn't eaten since 12/30 6PM: Found her in crate 12/31 6AM with that meal and green (?) particulate in about a pint of yellow bile. Has eaten a few hand-fed dry Purina kibble (no additives) 4 times, w/o vomit. Drank lots of water this morning, vomiting all in yellow bile. Went for mile walk hour ago, ate a few kibbles, drank a little water from brook (clear/cold) w/o vomit.
JA: I'm sorry to hear that. This sounds like it might be serious. I'll let the Veterinarian know what's going on ASAP. Is there anything else the Veterinarian should be aware of about the dog?
Customer: spayed female, not being treated for any condition; great report at vet annual visit in Sept. Monthly meds are same as another male lab we have: heartworm and tick/flea chewable taken easily.

Did your dog get any table scraps over the holidays, specifically any meat or bones or fatty items?

Okay. Any chance your dog could have eaten something like a toy, sock, etc?

Not sure why it took so long for your response to show up on my computer, sorry about that!
