Customer Question

I have a Red Heeler who appears to be in discomfort in the abdomen. He had been chasing a treat ball last night around the house and bbq area. Following a short time out there he came back in seemingly not right. He gave a couple of yips but then just became very sombre. I thought he'd eaten the leftovers of the other dogs, they all get dog biscs predominantly as the other 2 are small dogs. The heeler is 7mths old. He is still in discomfort this morning, passes wind no worries at all, urinates fine, drinks ok. Sometimes when you touch him in the flank area he yips. He has been knawing on beef bones the last couple of days, he's had these before with no issues. I have given him some milk to try and help move anything if he's constipated but nothing yet. That was about an hour ago.

When is the last time you saw him defecate?

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
Just now, it was a tad loose and probably not as much as there could be. When he'd finished it seemed there might have been more but then he seemed happy that he'd finished. It just seems that it pains him, he doesn't lie on his side, either.
