Ask a Dog Vet and Get Answers to Your Dog Health Questions
Hello, JACustomer. I have been a Veterinary Nurse for over 15 years and would be happy to help you today. I'm reviewing your question right now.
JACustomer, I am sorry that your question had not been addressed before now. We truly need to find an ER facility in your area that can examine your companion and begin anti-convulsant therapy. If you would like help with this, can you please provide your city, state and zipcode?
If you are not able to drive yourself, you may need to consider contacting a company like Lyft or Uber to get you to and from. A cab company might also be a good idea. There is nothing that you can do for seizures from home. My biggest concern is that he enters into a seizure episode and does not exit. If this happens, he can die. If he is having seizure activity this often, he needs to be started on anti-convulsant therapy to treat and prevent new seizure activity.
I will be available today if you need more help, just send an additional message back if I can offer more support.
