Yes, you can use mupirocin on dogs.

Also an oral antihistamine may help with some of the itching.

As long as he is not on any other medications you can give benadryl.

Use the human kind.

1mg of benadryl per each pound of dog every 12 hours as needed.

You can also apply over they counter hydrocortisone cream for itching and inflammation.
