Thanks for being patient. A single dose of this medication for your size dog should not be a problem at all.

It is likely that Gixmo would have to eat around 45 tablets before a toxicity issue could come into play.

Although this is not a medication I use frequently, I do use very similar ones (and they have similar dosages for dogs). The amount Gixmo ate is about two times the normal treatment dose.

You should not have to induce vomiting because you shouldn't see any side effects.

If you would feel more comfortable inducing vomiting to be safe (only if this medication was ingested over the past hour) you can give 3 tsp of hydrogen peroxide orally. If vomiting doesn't occur after 10 minutes then you could repeat once.

I wouldn't rush to induce vomiting in this instance if Gixmo was my dog.
