Have 2 golden retriever puppies that aren't walking after

Customer Question

Have 2 golden retriever puppies that aren't walking after 3.25 weeks. I think they are large for their age ( almost 5 lbs). Earlier they were ver y flat with are and legs our to the sides. Better now that we adjusted the whelping box with some obsticles they had to crawl over. They can raise their bodies on the front legs and sometimes get up on their back legs and take a few steps. They have very good traction with the whelping mat underneath
JA: I'm sorry to hear that. Could be a lot of things that cause lethargy. The veterinarian will know how to help the dog. What is the dog's name?
Customer: Puppies are Storm and Wendy
JA: Is there anything else important you think the veterinarian should know about Storm?
Customer: no they are not walking yet

How many puppies in the litter?

Expert:  Dr. Lori replied 9 months ago.

As we discussed what you are seeing may be due to the size of theses puppies.

You can try physical therapy exercises as we discussed to strengthen the back legs.

Post pictures and a video so I can take a look at them.
