Hello, I'm Dr. Deb and will do my best to help you today.

I'm sorry for this concern about your dog but he should be able to pass this object with no problems. I'd probably feed him an extra meal today and/or increase his fiber content (such as with some whole wheat bread); I'd also play with him more ...both things should help to increase transit time.

I'd also monitor his stools for evidence of the band-aid.

But, I wouldn't worry that this will cause him any significant issues.

A vet visit isn't necessary.
