Customer Question

After her walk this afternoon by my friend, she came back to my room and started livking incessantly. I took her to drink some water..she drank and spit it up. Then she kind if choked and havked like something was stuck in her throat. I gave her some milk, and she vomited that with undigested kibble. She finally calmed diwn, with the iccasional havk. When we came to bed, she started obsessively licking the bedspread for a hood ten minuteswith me trying to soothe her.
JA: I'm sorry to hear that. This sounds like it might be serious. I'll let the veterinarian know what's going on ASAP. Is there anything else important you think the veterinarian should know about the dog?
Customer: She''s calm now. She is an 8 yr old Shih Tzu.

Hello & welcome, I am Dr. B, a licensed veterinarian and I would like to help you today.

Is there any chance she could have eaten something she should not have (ie bones, plants, chemicals, etc) on the walk?

Are her gums pink or pale/white? Moist or sticky?

If you press on her belly, any discomfort, tenderness, or tensing?

Any diarrhea?
