He has been gagging and has difficulty getting his breath.

Customer Question

He has been gagging and has difficulty getting his breath. He has had a battery of tests, but after several thousand dollars, the vet wants more tests. She says it is not a collapsed trachea or a foreign object. He has been on several pills for two months but that only helps a little and temporarily. It is so hard to watch him struggle with no relief. He has chronic pancreatitis. Any idea what else it could be?
JA: I'm sorry to hear that. What sort of animal are we talking about?
Customer: ***** ***** terrier
JA: OK. Coughing can be worrying. The Veterinarian will know what you should do. What is the ***** *****'s name?
Customer: Beezer
JA: Is there anything else the Veterinarian should be aware of about Beezer?
Customer: He has been treating him since he was a puppy, so I don't think so. (Beezer is 9 now)
