My 11 year old slightly overweight mini dachshund is limping

Customer Question

Hi there, my 11 year old slightly overweight mini dachshund is limping on his front left leg. I havent seen him hurt himself and its only come on in the last hour or so. His paw seems fine however when i run my hand on the inside of his little leg he gets quite agitated when i touch the inside of his shoulder
JA: I'm sorry to hear that. Have you looked to see if there is a wound on their foot?
Customer: Yes and it seems fine,
JA: The Veterinarian will know what to do. What is the dachshund's name?
Customer: Arnold
JA: Is there anything else important you think the Veterinarian should know about Arnold?

Hello & welcome, I am Dr. B, a licensed veterinarian and I would like to help you today.

Will he let you flex/extend the joints?

Does he tend to jump on/off furniture?

Any sores or swollen areas?
