Hi. My name is***** You've asked a good question. Is it physically possible for a female dog to only have one ovary? Yes. Is it common. No. Did the veterinarian that did the spay say they only found one ovary at the time of surgery? How long ago was this?

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
she was under an hour, and it was a week ago.

So a week ago she was under anesthesia for one hour and at the end of the surgery, they only were able to find one ovary? The one thing about the female anatomy is that the uterine horns should lead to each ovary. Did they say they were able to identify two uterine horns?
