My 2 yr old dachshund has accidental toxicity of colchicine

Customer Question

My 2 yr old dachshund has accidental toxicity of colchicine 0.6mg. I am a veterinary technition in tennessee. VIN was explored and stated high mortality in such cases. We are treating with activated charcoal TID, IV of LRS and bland diet. No vommiting, no loose stool. Not ate anything in 36 hrs. Treatment started about 12 hrs from ingestion. Meds were discovered and off to clinic we went. Any other advise?

Ma'am. He is currently in Emergency referral hospital in IV LRS, activated charcoal TID, and fomotidine BID. I called "Just Ask" yesterday and canceled my request. I was still charged the $5 deposit tho. Jusk Ask doesn't say response time until very last step. But it was too late. I could only leave message with customer service, I was on hold for over 30 min attempting to cancel my request. Voice message stated if I leave a detailed message with phone, name, e-mail they would call me back. It's been over 24 hrs now and no call from costumer support. I do wish a full refund. If you have any questions please feel free to call me at(###) ###-#### Thank you for asking.

I apologize, I will request a refund through the customer service dept. Give them a little time to process!
