Customer Question

My 13 year old Vizsla is panting, restless, and crying. He walked fine, went to the bathroom and ate his dinner. But, is there something else that I can do for him to make him more comfortable? I fear that he may be near the end.
JA: I'm sorry to hear that. The Veterinarian will know if the dog will be able to digest that. What is the dog's name?
Customer: Toby. Digest what? His dinner?
JA: Is there anything else the Veterinarian should be aware of about Toby?
Customer: No, he had a senior exam and everything was fine 8 months ago

I gave him some Doggie Ice Cream and he seems to have calmed down, breathing normally. Toby ate more than usual at dinner tonight and nothing seemed unusual during his walk or during his potty time. He was sleeping until he began yelping and breathing heavily.

1) Is Toby showing any other signs of concern aside from the vocalization?
2) How many breaths per minute are you seeing?
3) Is Toby on any medication at this time?
