Marla, how long has she been home from surgery?

How was her appetite before the surgery?

Did she have normal stools then?

Expert:  Dr Marta Lepes replied 9 months ago.

Marla it has been a half hour since i posted to you. Perhaps you went to bed.

I have to log off now. But i will also opt out so that someone else can help you if they are available.

Hi it's been 10 days since surgery and she was ok before the surgery.. She is also new to us.. We had her a week before she needed hernia surgery and we had her fixed at the same time..

Good morning,

I am afraid that Dr. Lepes has left this conversation, still I am Dr. B and happy to help.

Can you tell me what you have tried already for her?

Does she have belly pain or straining to pass stool?

Any retching, gagging, lip licking, drooling, or vomiting?

Are her gums nice and pink (not white/pale)? Moist or sticky?

Could she have eaten anything she should not have (ie bones, toys, plants, chemicals, human meds, etc)?
