Customer Question

Hi, last night we took our dog to the emergency clinic because he couldn't get comfortable, was super-restless, kept changing places. Vomited up his dinner.
JA: I'm sorry to hear that. Hopefully it didn't make a mess. Did the dog eat anything unusual?
Customer: I made a big mistake and gave him a lamb shank bone from a restaurant late morning on Sat. But there were signs that he was getting restless before chewed some of it.
JA: What is the dog's name and age?
Customer: He seems to have passed a couple of pieces when very upset at emergency vet. Pooped a lot there, expressed h-is anal glands and had to be sedated (two doses) for x-rays.
JA: Is there anything else the Veterinarian should be aware of about the dog?
Customer: Boots is 6 yrs. and 3 months. Is this a free service?

1) Was Boots placed on any medications?
2) Is he at home now?
3) Was the shank chewed up and eaten?
4) Did they run any blood work?
5) Has the vomiting persisted?
