Customer Question

My 10 week old puppy is running a a fever I think. He has a dry warm nose and very lethargic and is breathing fast. He regurgitated last night a few times and once today to my knowledge. He has had all of his puppy shots (a month ago) should I be worried?

Hello and thank you for asking your question. My name is***** will try to help.

Do you have a thermometer? It is an old wives, or old husbands, tale that you can tell if something is wrong by the nose.

When you say he regurgitated do you mean he ate and it came right back up undigested? Or did he vomit with abdominal contractions?

Expert:  Dr. Gabby replied 9 months ago.

When they regurgitate there are no abdominal contractions and the food just comes right back up. With vomiting there are abdominal contractions and possible retching.
