My boxer dog (about age 2) ate a tube of glue. I don't know

Customer Question

my boxer dog (about age 2) ate a tube of glue. I don't know how much he ate last night. He seemed ok this morning. What ill effects will it have if there seem to be none now?
Thank you,
Debbie

Hello, I'm Dr. Kara. I have over 20 years of experience as a veterinarian and I'd like to help. Please give me a moment to review your concerns.

Did he just eat the glue or did he eat the tube as well?

If he ate the tube was it plastic or metal?

What type of glue was this? (super glue, elmer's glue, gorilla glue)?

How big was the tube?

Did Sandy eat breakfast and pass stool today?

I am sorry I cannot help with a phone call.

The states/province I am licensed in do not allow me to communicate via phone calls, unless I have previously physically examined a pet. I could lose my license for doing so.

If you would like we can continue this way, or I can opt out and put it back on the question list for anyone available that can take calls.

This would be much easier by phone. Thank you.
