I was just brushing my Springer Spaniel's teeth and noticed a swelling in the throat that that may need attention (immediate) She has been snorting like she has something blocking her air passing threw her nostrils. Thoughts?????

Is it in her throat or behind her molars? Can you look with a flashlight if that would help you visualize it better?

Dogs have tonsils so it could be a swollen tonsil.

When did she start snorting? Is she doing it non-stop?
