Hi this is Dr. Hill. The trembling and panting are a sign of either anxiety or pain. Did she eat her dinner?

No

She did eat a treat
Expert:  Kelly Hill replied 1 year ago.

Is there anything she could have gotten into today. Does she get high fat treats or people food? Could she be overheated? Are you able to check her temperature?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
She didn't get into anything. She does eat some people food but only white rice. She did have some pizza crust last nite but on crust. I can check her temp. Is it rectal? Are dog temps the same as ours?
Expert:  Kelly Hill replied 1 year ago.

Pizza crust could be enough to cause pancreatitis (inflammation of the pancreas) The normal temp range is 99-102.9. Yes rectally.

101.8 temp. Should i take her to anumal hospital or can this wait til tomorrow morning- i have an appt tomorrow morning. How long can she pant like this and not develop issues- hypercapnia?

I apologize. My response to another customer just cross posted. Please ignore. Thank you.

So, it is unlikely that she will develop any issues unless she becomes overheated. You should take her to vet tonight if she has any vomiting, diarrhea with blood or starts acting weak. She should definitely go in to local vet in the morning for a physical and bloodwork. Feel free to ask additional questions. If you are satisfied with my answer, please take time to rate. Take care.
